Eagle Type 1 and Type 2 safety fuel cans are manufactured from heavy gauge
galvanized steel. These cans are equipped with brass pour spout and flame
arrestors. These cans meet OSHA, NFPA, UL and Factory Mutual (FM) standards
regarding gasoline storage. Some other manufacturers use lead to coat the
inside of their cans. Eagle uses the galvanization (zinc) coating process. These
fuel cans are equipped with an automatically closing spring loaded valve
shutting off the flow of fuel as soon as the valve is released.
