Ingersoll Rand (IR) Duplex compressor features two electric motors and heavy duty air compressor pumps mounted to a single air tank (receiver). Two motors and pumps provide a backup in case of failure. This innovative Ingersoll Rand design also provides nearly twice the volume of air in a very compact package.

Many years ago, I worked in a tire store mounting and balancing tires. One day the air compressor
failed and we had no air for several hours. That incident cost the store thousands of dollars. Do you
have a manufacturing, assembly plant or service department that absolutely must have a reliable
source of air? Is your facility tight on space and you need high performance air delivery in a small
package? These compressors offer a reliable high performance solution.

ACFM ratings for the above compressors are per pump. Each Compressor has two pumps.
Additional models are available up through 30 horse power.
ACFM ratings are at 175 psi and measured at the tank outlet. Discharge fittings and line sizes
will ultimately dictated delivered CFM.
5 and 7.5 hp models run on 230 Volt Single Phase 60 hz power.
10 and 15 hp models are available in 200 Volt 3 Phase, 230 Volt 3 Phase, 460 Volt 3 Phase and
575 Volt 3 Phase, 60 hz power. Please specify voltage when ordering.
Compressor pump is oil lubricated. Service life may be twice as long as oil less pumps.
Units are rated for 24 hour service.
Single Stage or Dual Stage. What's the Difference?
Single stage pumps deliver the air from all cylinders in one cycle. The air goes directly from the
cylinder into the tank. The result is a greater volume of air at the sacrifice of pressure.
Dual or Two stage pumps transfer the air from the primary or low pressure cylinder to the
secondary or high pressure cylinder. The air is further compressed by the high pressure cylinder.
The result is a higher pressure with a sacrifice of volume.
Single stage compressor is designed for uses up to approximately 100 pounds Dual or Two stage compressor is designed for uses up to approximately 175 pounds. The compressors on this page are designed for continuous 100% duty.
